About Sharell Andrews
“As seen on American Idol Season 3, Sharell Andrews has a powerful young Aretha Franklin voice. Originally Savannah, GA and now living in Athens, OH working at Ohio University as a Network Administrator. After appearing on American Idol, Sharell was signed to Global Star Records which led to her debut CD "Believe" which received great reviews. She has opened for Fantasia, Kimberly Locke, and Aaron Carter to name a few, and has also headlined many festivals and family concerts. Currently performing with the band R&B Station from Athens, OH, Sharrell lends her soulful voice to this blues band. Recently she got to be a part of the Athens Jazz & Blues Festival where she (along with R&B Station) had the opportunity to play with Mark Pender, trumpet player from “Late Night with Conan O’Brien”.
