About the Artist:
Hailing from Detroit, Roni Shanell is a powerhouse in comedy and entertainment. Since stepping onto the scene in 2015, she has been blazing stages across the country with her bold, high-energy, and unapologetic style.
Roni has performed at some of the nation’s most iconic comedy venues, including the Hollywood Improv, The Laugh Factory (Los Angeles and Chicago), the World-Famous Comedy Store, and Caroline’s on Broadway. In 2024, she hit the road as the opening act for Martin Lawrence on his “Y’all Know What It Is” tour—solidifying her place as one of comedy’s rising stars.
Beyond the stage, Roni is a dynamic TV host and has appeared on MTV, showcasing her vibrant personality and undeniable presence on screen. She also tours internationally, entertaining U.S. troops alongside the mental health comedy group One Degree of Separation, using laughter as a tool for healing and connection.
